Tour Itinerary

  • Start the day atop the Mount of Olives, with a breathtaking overview of Jerusalem.
  • See the Old City and the Temple Mount area spread before us against a background of new Jerusalem.
  • Drive along the Kidron Valley for an excellent view of the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations as well as of the monumental ancient Jewish burial tombs.
  • Enter the Old City through the Zion Gate, passing the Armenian Quarter to the Roman Cardo, the fifteen hundred year old main street of Jerusalem which was partially destroyed and unused during the Moslem conquest.
  • Continue to the Jewish Quarter and visit Judaism’s holiest shrine, the Kotel – the Western Wall. This two thousand year old wall is part of the encircling and supporting wall built by King Herod when the Temple Mount area was enlarged.
  • Walk along the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows), stopping at the Stations of the Cross en route to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the church built over the place of the crucifixion of Jesus and the burial tomb.
  • Finally, stroll through the sights and smells of the alleys of the Souk.

Note: The tour ends at approx. 13:00 in the Old City of Jerusalem.
