Cruise
Based Tour Objective |
|
|
| |
As
the schedule for shore excursions is tight, the tour routes below reflect
that constraint. Our objective is:
- to open a small
window towards understanding... the sites... the peoples... the history
and the present
- to
vividly bring to life your visions and perceptions of the Holyland.
- to make your day
memorable and enjoyable.
NOTE: All
tours can be modified and we will do our best to accomodate your requests.

General Information about Cruise BasedTours
from Haifa & Ashdod Ports
|
| |
|
| |
- Itineraries
are subject to time allocations related to cruise ship docking and departure
times; or to changes in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such
as weather conditions, traffic, etc.
|
- The
programs are based on geographic proximity and themes; however, you
may mix and match or request your own route. As long as it is viable
we will do our best to fulfill your request, or we will alter it together
to suit your wishes.
|
- Many
of the sites have both Judaic and Christian context. Although the focus
may be towards sites of a particular religion, my view is from a historic
standpoint and does not infringe upon your own religious or non-religious
feelings which are fully respected.
|
- In
the winter season (October - March), the day is shorter which shortens
the opening times of various sites.Site visitations
may also change on Fridays and Saturdays. Some routes may alter to reflect
with these factors.
|
- You
can plan a tour as private, or can offer other people to join and share
expenses. We can accommodate small groups of up till 6 in a luxury vehicle or larger groups in larger vehicles.
|
- Dress
code when visiting holy sites: no shorts and no sleeveless shirts, otherwise
you can wear what you like. In summer: Bring hats, suntan lotion, water.
In winter: Warm clothing.
|
- In
some instances, bringing a box lunch from the ship, may eliminate the
need for lunch stops and allow more time for visiting sites.
|
- When
swimming is planned, if possible, borrow towels from the ship to bring
along.
- Water
shoes , beach thongs or similar are recommended for bathing at the Dead
Sea area
