  About Me

I have always had a love of history, the bible and nature.
I studied agriculture at the Faculty of Agriculture in the Hebrew University for 3 years.
I lived in various farm communities in Israel - kibbutz and moshav that were located in the north, as well as in the south of Israel.
I lived in Canada and am fluent in English.
I completed a two-year course of the Ministry of Tourism and am a licensed tour guide in English and Hebrew. I have been guiding for over 15 years.
I have a BA degree in History.
Currently, I am studying for my Masters Degree in the "Land of Israel Study Program" at the University of Haifa, which also qualifies me as Sr. Tour Guide.
I enjoy working with all kinds of people and want you, not only to see the sites, but to feel enriched, when you leave.
My motto is "To look is one thing, to see another...
But to understand... is an entirely different matter."

Nature Tours
As a country located between 3 continents, Israel is unique in that you can actually walk from one climatic zone to another, with an extremely rich variety of flora and fauna from both northern and southern hemispheres. Being located along the route for migrating birds from Europe to Africa, it has become a favourite locale for 'Birdwatchers'. In the winter months you can ski down Mount Hermon, and within an hours drive, arrive for a swim in the Sea of Galilee. Hike through nature reserves from the lush green north to the parched red and brown hued desert.

Biblical Tours
Israel, LAND OF THE BIBLE, is today a modern thriving country in the Middle East. Yet...it is possible...to hold the bible in your hand, to walk the land And...to see and understand...the biblical events in their actual, geographical location Not necessarily for the religious, but for those who are interested in the historical, political, and geographical aspects of the bible. Religious services can be arranged for all faiths.

Archaeology Tours
As the richest country in Archaeological sites, Israel has much to offer with excellently maintained sites and museums that house some of the most fascinating relics ever dicovered.

Even in ancient times Israel's importance was apparent as noted in the "Tower of David Museum", where a plaque above a large relief map of the ancient middle east, reads:
"Situated in the fertile crescent, stretching along the mediterranean coast, the ancient land of Israel (Canaan) served as a vital corridor between continents, a cultural bridge and a buffer between the 2 mighty civilizations on its borders - Egypt and the kingdoms of Mesopotamia.
In bold writing on the plaque is the following line:
"A BRIDGE BETWEEN CULTURE, A BUFFER BETWEEN EMPIRES".

It's advanced and intensive desert farming techniques have enabled it to become one of the major suppliers of top quality fruits and vegetables to the European communites. Kibbutz and Moshav - started in the early 1900's as agricultural settlements, although changing, still flourish today. Include visits to research farms and institutes as well as the above-mentioned farm communities
