ROUTE
Day 1
Depart Eilat
climbing the Negev mountains along the Egyptian- Israeli border.
Cross Ramon Crater and ascend to view the geological phenomena from above
Continue north to the ancient Nabatean town of Avdat for a comprehensive
visit.
Stop for lunch at Kibbutz Sde Boker and visit Ben Gurion’s hut.
Continue on to one of the country kibbutz lodgings for overnight.
Evening tour and explanation of kibbutz.
Day 2
Morning
departure to biblical town of Tel Maresha for archaeological dig &
tour Beit Guvrin.
After lunch, drive via Jerusalem towards the Dead Sea. Stop for a swim
Continue on to Eilat for evening arrival.
